Kornelia Kostka

As a product manager, Kornelia channels her passion for economic development into innovative technology solutions for site selection. She leverages her research and analytics skills to provide decision-makers with the tools and insights necessary for navigating the complex process of site selection.

A native of Poland, Kornelia considers South Carolina her second home. She moved to Charleston, South Carolina to attend school on a cross-country and track and field scholarship. Her interest in economic development was initially sparked while working one summer for the South Carolina Department of Commerce’s European Office in Munich, Germany.

Before joining Strata Platforms, at Global Location Strategies, Kornelia was part of Global Location Strategies, where she provided strategic research and analysis to clients on location decisions. She led the development of GLS Insights—location benchmarking reports—and the further improvements of Site Shepherd, an analytics platform. Furthermore, she gained valuable insights into economic development while working for the Greenville Area Development Corporation in South Carolina, spearheading research efforts to support business recruitment and retention. Now based in the Netherlands, Kornelia enjoys her role as a site selection connector between the European and US markets.

Kornelia holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from the College of Charleston and an international MBA from the University of South Carolina. She loves to stay active and enjoys running, hiking, and cycling.
